PENINGKATAN PEMAHAMAN KEAGAMAAN SISWA MELALUI PENGAJIAN MAULID NABI MUHAMMAD SAW DI SEKOLAH INSAN CENDEKIA YOGYAKARTA

This community service activity was conducted in response to an invitation from Sekolah Insan Cendekia Yogyakarta to deliver a religious sermon (tausiyah) during the commemoration of the Prophet Muhammad’s birthday (Maulid Nabi). The program was designed to strengthen the religious and spiritual dimensions of the school community, particularly in enhancing the faith, piety, and Islamic character formation of students, teachers, and staff. Through this activity, participants were reintroduced to the exemplary character of Prophet Muhammad as the central model of moral education, allowing them to gain a more comprehensive understanding of noble values relevant to contemporary challenges.The implementation employed thematic lectures, spiritual motivation sessions, and interactive dialogues that enabled participants to directly discuss religious issues encountered in daily life. This approach facilitated a communicative, participatory, and contextual learning atmosphere, making the message more accessible and meaningful for the audience.The results indicated a high level of enthusiasm among participants, which was evident through their active involvement in discussions and question–answer sessions. Furthermore, the activity contributed to an increased understanding of core prophetic values such as honesty, social empathy, responsibility, and discipline in worship. Participants also expressed renewed motivation to apply these Islamic ethical principles in their everyday lives.Institutionally, this program strengthened collaboration between the university and Islamic educational institutions in promoting sustainable character development within the school environment. Such initiatives are expected to be continued and expanded as a tangible form of the university’s contribution to community empowerment.

EDUKASI DAN SOSIALISASI KEUANGAN UNTUK ANAK DI SD NEGERI DEMAK IJO 2 KWARASAN, NOGOTIRTO, KECAMATAN GAMPING, SLEMAN: “MEMBANGUN GENERASI MANDIRI MELALUI BUDAYA MENABUNG SEJAK DINI”

Kegiatan edukasi dan sosialisasi kuangan ini merupakan kegiatan pengabdian yang dilakukan di SD Negeri Demak Ijo 2 Kwarasan, Nogotirto, Kecamatan Gamping, Sleman. Sasaran pengabdian terdiri dari anak – anak SD khususnya yang berumur 6-12 tahun, Guru dan Pendidik, serta Orang tua dan Lingkungan. Kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat yang diselenggarakan oleh civitas akademika bersama HIMA Akuntansi STIE “YKP” Yogyakarta ini bertujuan untuk membangun kesadaran dan menanamkan kedisiplinan anak dalam hal pembiasaan mengelola keuangan melalui budaya menabung sejak dini. Menabung tidak hanya sebatas menyisihkan uang, tetapi juga melatih kedisiplinan, tanggung jawab, serta kemandirian anak.Luaran yang diharapkan dari kegiatan ini adalah terbentuknya generasi bangsa yang mandiri melalui budaya menabung sejak dini. Edukasi dan sosialisasi keuangan ini diharapkan dapat memotivasi anak untuk terbiasa hidup hemat dan tidak boros sebagai anak-anak calon penerus generasi bangsa.

PENGUATAN PENGELOLAAN USAHA BUMKAL DAN UNIT USAHA BUMKAL MULYO NUGROHO, MULYODADI, BAMBANGDIPURO, BANTUL, DAERAH ISTIMEWA YOGYAKARTA

ABSTRAK

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat kapasitas

pengelolaan keuangan Badan Usaha Milik Kelurahan (BUMKal) Mulyo Nugroho di Kelurahan

Mulyodadi, Kecamatan Bambangdipuro, Kabupaten Bantul. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi

mitra adalah belum tersusunnya laporan keuangan sesuai standar akuntansi serta masih

dilakukannya pencatatan keuangan secara manual. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi

ceramah, diskusi, dan praktik langsung penyusunan jurnal umum serta laporan kas masuk dan

kas keluar menggunakan aplikasi Microsoft Excel. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya

peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan pengurus BUMKal dalam melakukan pencatatan

transaksi keuangan secara sistematis dan akuntabel. Peserta mampu menyusun laporan keuangan

sederhana sesuai prinsip akuntansi dasar serta menunjukkan komitmen terhadap transparansi dan

akuntabilitas pengelolaan keuangan. Kegiatan ini dinilai efektif dan relevan dengan kebutuhan

mitra serta berkontribusi positif dalam mendukung tata kelola keuangan BUMKal yang

profesional, transparan, dan berkelanjutan.

ABSTRACT

This community service activity aimed to strengthen the financial management capacity of

BUMKal Mulyo Nugroho in Mulyodadi Village, Bambangdipuro District, Bantul Regency. The

main issues faced by the partner were the absence of standardised financial statements and the

continued use of manual financial recording systems. The activity was implemented through

lectures, discussions, and hands-on practice in preparing general journals as well as cash inflow

and cash outflow reports using Microsoft Excel. The results indicate a significant improvement

in participants’ understanding and skills in systematic and accountable financial recording.

BUMKal managers were able to prepare simple financial statements in accordance with basic

accounting principles and demonstrated increased awareness of transparency and accountability

in financial governance. This activity proved effective and relevant to the partner’s needs and

contributed positively to the development of professional, transparent, and sustainable financial

management practices within BUMKal.

COMUNITY EMPOWERMENT THROUGH LIQUID ORGANIC FERTILIZER PRODUCTION

The community empowerment activity through the production of liquid organic fertilizer in Ngestiharjo, Kasihan, Bantul, aims to enhance the community's knowledge and skills in managing natural resources sustainably. This program involved farmers and Karang Taruna members in the production of liquid organic fertilizer using natural materials such as tempe, sprouts, banana stems, coconut water, and fernipan. The resulting fermented liquid fertilizer can be used to improve soil fertility and agricultural yields without harming the environment. In addition to environmental benefits, this activity also empowers the community socially and economically by reducing dependence on expensive chemical fertilizers. This program is expected to become a model of sustainable agriculture-based empowerment that can be applied in other villages.
